The Power of Prayer.

Prayer is the act of presenting your wants to God so that God can grant you your actual needs. Whenever you pray, your prayer is what directs God's eye towards your desires and God will also respond by directing you into what you actually need at that particular time.

It is not good to live in a situation of scarcity because of your desires not being known to the provider God. It is very true that its only God who is meant to direct our ways into what we need, but prayer can also direct God towards your desires so that He can also direct you again into your needs. Look at that kind of workmanship between you and your creator. No wounder prayerful people complete alot in life, they are always co-creating things with their creator God through prayer.

Never say that God knows all your needs, therefore, thinking that you do not need to pray, you have to pray. Satan's plan is to hinder you from accessing your provisions and your God through prayer. Scriptures are very clear, God demands us to pray and be given, seek him and we shall find, knock at the door and it will be opened for us, Mathew 7:7.

From servants of God like Moses, through all the prophets, kings, Judges, to the apostles, all relied on prayer for provisions, strength, power and success. Even our Lord Jesus Christ spent alot of His time in prayer. Before you even think about starting that company, ministry, family among others, please pray. Satan knows your plans before you commission them in this World. Prayer will hinder satan from disrupting them.

My best lesson on this is this; Before our Lord start His ministry on Earth, which ministry brought us salvation and the Holy spirit, He spent 40 days and nights praying and fasting in the Wilderness, Mathew 4:2.

Prayer enables things to happen which are hard to imagine that they can happen. Prayer also overcomes temptations, prayerful people can not be tempted easily.

Prayer is a form of worshiping God. Among other purposes for your creation is worshiping the Lord your God. We were created to worship God and it is accounted to us as obedience and righteousness. The more you pray, the more your worshiping God and the more your obedient to His commandment of worshiping Him.God considers your prayer on one side as a worship to him and on the other side as a request for provisions. God knows that out of your reverance to Him, you ask. This puts Him above anyone else you would consider for a solution to your need.

It is very difficult to imagine that a human being would some how change God's will but this can happen through prayer. I have learnt about various incidences where God's people and or His servants  prayed and God was able to change His will. Hezekiah prayed and his age was increase by more 15 years, changing God's decision of taking him, 2 Kings 20:1-11. Joshua prayed and the sun stopped moving for 24 hours, Joshua 10:12-13. That is how powerful prayer can be, being able to change some of God's plans and Natural operations. There is abundant mercy to do things given to prayerful people.

Therefore, i urge you to always pray to your God, your needs will be done for you and your life shall not be the same again.
