How the Blood of Jesus Christ can take away your sins.

Who is Jesus Christ?

Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God who came into the World to save us from our sins. The coming of Jesus Christ was a manifestation of God's Love for all of us.

Jesus Christ did not come to condemn us but to save us from death and give us an everlasting life, John 3:16-17.

Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross like a sinner in order to shed His own blood on the cross so that he can take away our sins.

He was buried in the grave and resurrected on the third day, He is the resurrected Lord and Saviour, Mathew 28.

The Origin of Sin:

The first human beings on Earth was Adam and Eve, from whom we are all descendants. The two were created by God, in his own image and likeness as seen in Genesis 1:26-27.

Adam and Eve innitially shared the most wonderful love of God. Like a father loving his own Children, God loved Adam and Eve as His own children; meeting them at broad day time in the garden of Eden.

God gave to Adam all things which he had created with full instruction to own and have dominion, Genesis 1:27.

God trusted Adam and blessed him to continue with His work of creation, in what he called "procreate, multiply and fill the Earth".

God breathed his own spirit, in what I will call here as "part of himself" into Adam's Nostrils which is symbolically sharing His life with man, Genesis 2:7. This kind of love can not be found anywhere else but only in God. I can not exhaust God's initial love to mankind.

However, What separated God and mankind was sin. When Adam and Eve acted contrary to God's commandments in the garden of Eden, by eating the forbidden fruit, man sinned, Genesis 3.

The sin of Adam and Eve is a good lesson for us to learn that sin did not start today or in this current generation, the origin of sin is actually traced as far as the generation of Adam and Eve .

Through God's creation, we are directly linked to Adam and Eve in both spirit and flesh, being the founding farther of human life on Earth. God gave them power to procreate life on Earth. You are a descendant of Adam and Eve.

The Blood that takes away the Sin of many.

Taking away your sins and the sins of Adam and Eve was the main reason for the coming of Jesus Christ into the World. We had all inherited the sin of Adam and Eve.

Whether you have never done anything wrong to God or to a fellow human being, Adam did it for everyone and that still requires atonement by the blood of Jesus Christ to be taken away. For its written "For  this is My blood  of the  new covenant, which is shed  for many for the  remission of sins. - Matthew 26:28".

Why Jesus Had to Shed Blood in order to take away our Sins.

The original form of worshiping God given to man was by animal Sacrifice. Animals like Lambs, cows, Goats without blemish world be provided by God to man and man would in return slaughter those animals as a blood Sacrifice to God.

Each Sacrifice had a purpose, forexample; others were sin sacrifices, peace sacrifices, worship sacrifices among others. Its written; "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’ - Leviticus 17:11".

Animal sacrifice was a convenant made between God and all people who lived before Jesus Christ, including; Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, the kings like David, Solomon and all their generations. They Worshipped God by animal Sacrifice.

However, God saw that the convenant of worshiping him by animal sacrifice did not give righteousness to His people, He decided to Sacrifice His own begotten son as one last blood sacrifice.

If worship was by blood of animals, and righteousness was equally pursued through blood sacrifice, the Lord thought it necessary to offer the precious blood of Jesus christ for remission of sin, ending decades of blood sacrifice because the blood of Jesus Christ achieved the desired intention of removing sin from man at once and for all.

We therefore do not require any more blood sacrifice because we already got the righteousness through that of Jesus Christ.

This totally changed worship, enabling even the poor who can not afford animals to sacrifice to God.

Now the poor are able to freely worship God using a free Sacrife of the blood of Jesus Christ given by God, also called the lamb of God .

Worshiping God became spiritual, not by flesh and blood. Enabling those who are gentiles and non gentiles to worship God freely in spirit and truth for righteousness. John 4:1-26.
